Business Law Enforcement Alliance

The Business Law Enforcement Alliance (BLEA) was formed in 1994 as a partnership between business and law enforcement to develop solutions to crime problems.  Since that time, the BLEA has expanded its scope to consider educational and/or training opportunities that would directly benefit those individuals and business that are involved in law enforcement activities.

For businesses, the BLEA is intended to provide ongoing access to the collective expertise of law enforcement representatives and leaders from throughout the state, and thus the potential for statewide solutions to statewide crime-related problems.  Again, this access could result in the recognition of, and solutions to, ongoing or developing law enforcement problems.

For law enforcement leaders, the BLEA provides a forum for the discussion and coordination of crime prevention strategies, and an opportunity to learn about potential solutions from the business perspective.

The BLEA also uses contributions to help support charitable law enforcement related groups.  For the last several years a golf tournament has been organized to benefit Concerns of Police Survivors.

The BLEA Board of Directors is made up of individuals representing various industries and law enforcement leaders.

The BLEA works as a forum for identifying industry-specific and cross-cutting issues and developing solutions.

The BLEA is organized as a 501(c)3 and contributions are tax-deductible.
