Starting 2021 on the Right Foot

February 2, 2021   |   Live Webinar

A Collaborative Forum for Exchanging Ideas, Best Practices, and Answering Questions During the COVID-19 Pandemic brought to you by the California Peace Officers’ Association.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges for many industries, and public safety has not been immune. LEads are facilitator-led Zoom conversations designed to allow you to connect with your peers virtually to discuss the changing environment, exchange ideas, and most importantly support the physical and mental well-being of you, as first responders. If you have questions or would like to share practices that have worked well for you and your agency, please join us. Registration is complimentary (100 participants max).

Starting 2021 on the Right Foot
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm PST
February 2, 2021

As we close the door on 2020, join Dr. Ellen Kirschman, the “Cop Doc”, for a conversation as we talk about self-care for cops and their families. Under “normal” circumstances, policing is already fraught with potential traumas and a culture that influences relationships. But under the additional lens of 2020 impacts: the pandemic, quarantining, health concerns, and civil unrest and scrutiny following the George Floyd incident (just to name a few), building and maintaining strong families has been even more challenging. Start 2021 on a positive… whether your relationship is in good shape, shaky or on the brink, this conversation will provide you with new considerations in ways to keep your families strong. This session is open to law enforcement and their loved ones.

Facilitator: Dr. Ellen Kirschman
