SUMMARY:The Mother Cop Dilemma - Carlsbad
DESCRIPTION:The Mother Cop Dilemma – Carlsbad\n\n	« All Events\n \n \nCourse Description\nWomen make up just 12% of police officers in the U.S.\, and only 3% hold executive leadership roles. Among those\, the number of officers balancing both motherhood and leadership is so small it’s not even tracked. But the challenges faced by working mothers in policing – lack of visibility\, structural barriers\, outdated policies\, and cultural bias – are part of a broader conversation about how we lead\, support\, and retain ourworkforce. \nThis course is designed for all supervisors – regardless of gender or parental status – who want to better understand the systemicbarriers women face in law enforcement\, build more inclusive teams\, and become the kind of leaders who don’t just retain talent\, but elevate it. By addressing these issues head-on\, we can create stronger leadership\,healthier teams\, and a more resilient profession. \nDownload Course Flyer\nFees\n\n\n \n $150\n \n\nInstructor\n\nJulia Clasby\nLieutenant\, Seal Beach Police Department \nLocation\n\n	Carlsbad Safety Training Center\n\n5750 Orion Street\n \n Carlsbad\,\n	CA\n	92010\n\n\n	+ Google Map \n\n\n\n	\n	Add to calendar	\n \n	\n \n\n\n	Google Calendar\n\n\n	iCalendar\n\n\n	Outlook 365\n\n\n	Outlook Live\n\n\nQuick Info\nDate/Time\n August 4\n @\n8:00 am\n –\n5:00 pm \nmember Fee\n\n$150 \n\n\n \n Format: In-Person\n \n\n \n Location: Carlsbad Safety Training Center\n \n\n Who Should Attend: Any law enforcement professional looking to gain perspective on work/life balance of raising children while working in a law enforcement career\n \n\n \n Register\n \nHow to Register\n\n\n \n Click registration button above.\n \n\n \n Login to our system or create an account.\n \n\n \n On the registration page\, click the second blue button indicating group registration for your agency.\n \n\n \n On the following screen\, click the green button that says “Register an Attendee” and search for attendees you wish to register.\n \n\n \n Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.\n \n\n The easiest way to register a group of individuals is using our online system.\nIf you need assistance with a group registration\, please email: \n\n\n \n \n cpoa@cpoa.org
