CPOA Announces Newly Elected Board of Directors

The California Peace Officers’ Association (CPOA) is proud to announce the election of its new Board of Directors at the Annual Business Meeting, held September 16 at the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.

Leading the Association for the coming year is President Captain Chris Monahan of the Piedmont Police Department. He is joined by a strong team of Board Officers representing agencies across the state:

  • 1st Vice President: Commander Kevin Huddle, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office

  • 2nd Vice President: Sheriff Tyson Pogue, Madera County Sheriff’s Office

  • 3rd Vice President: Chief Todd Henry, Davis Police Department

  • Treasurer: Assistant Chief David Rodriguez, Watsonville Police Department

The Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding CPOA’s mission of advancing the professional development of California’s peace officers through training, advocacy, and community engagement. This leadership team reflects the breadth of California law enforcement and brings a wealth of experience and commitment to public safety.
