Scott began his career in law enforcement in 1989 and holds a BS in criminal justice and a JD. He served as Sacramento County Sheriff from 2010 to 2022 and as the CPOA Board President in 2015-2016.
He is married with four children and served on the Make-A-Wish Foundation Northeastern California and Northern Nevada chapter board of directors from 2014 to 2018.

Danielle began her 2nd career in the association industry in 2012 and joined CPOA in May 2021, excited to be part of a law enforcement association. She enjoys the planning and execution of programs and events that support member engagement and professional development.
